A few years ago, I created a Harry Potter "Monster Book" for my niece.  I used polymer clay, then, to make the mouth and I fell in love with it.  However, that was my final project... if you knew me and my life, all of my favorite things get tossed to the side because, well, LIFE.

What are the essentials in creating little charms?  I have some clay, a ball tool, and some eye pins.  Anything else I need?  Give me all of your crafty wisdom! <3  Thank you!
