I am obsessed with these little 3.5 inch wood hoops! 1 little cross stitched pixelated character seems to fit in them really well. I stitched up Luke Skywalker from Knotty Bytes' pattern "Star Wars: A New Hope."  It has 8 characters jn the pattern and I might make some more of these! A little jute hanger on the top turns it into a sweet little ornament!

Cute cross-stitched version of Luke--I didn't even know that they made hoops that small!  His face looks kind of Minecraft-y to me too.

Speaking of 8-bit Luke Skywalker, Japan got a VERY different Star Wars Nintendo Entertainment System video game than we did in the US.  Do you remember the part of the Star Wars film where Darth Vader transformed into a giant scorpion or a shark to fight Luke?  Well, in that game he does just that.  If anybody's interested, you can read about and see the zaniness here:

Thanks guys! I have at least 6 more tiny hoops, yay! I've stitched up some Star Trek TNG people before, but I think they were a different designer.  I like how there are so many different pixelated people but each has a different style.
