I held a craft session at our place to make tea cosies. We didn't use up all the sweater stash but we made a small dent at least.
My kids asked for a hobbit house/gnome home.

Happy New Year!  Kiss

I am going to have to agree.
At the start of the year I took photos of all the supplies littering up my studio which I'm revisiting today to compare as I dare and you know what? I can hardly even see any difference, how is that possible?! Drr.

There are MORE buttons. Sigh.
I use a lot of thread, beads, ribbon, lace and other trim but the containers seem just as full as before.
There is less yarn and fabric but only because I gave a lot of it away this year.
I did use up most of the fulled sweater fabric, there's only a small bin of mostly scraps left. And I gave away all the fur, fun fur, leather, and fabric saved to make poppets. I used up all the teeny tiny sweater scrap confetti stuff.
There is less paper crafting stuff, given away to a friend who does an art class at the kid's school. And I sent FOUR pretty big boxes of trinkets and supplies to people here.
How is there still so much stuff? I don't get it. I make so much stuff! I swap like crazy! I try not to go shopping for things and use what I have but honestly, I must be in denial about that because the proof is right in front of me.
I will do better this year! That's my resolution. I will use up anything that's over a year old and opt for projects made from what's here instead of something new.
