Today is a "Snow Day" here in Franklin.  We're having freezing rain, so schools are closed and everyone is staying home.  I'm taking the day to work on my swap package!

I like Kit-Kat, unless I'm with 4 or more people.

Began a thing, got distracted by making my 4yo flannel-lined pants w/ pink dinosaurs on...  So it goes around here.   Roll Eyes

I have teas called "relax" and "detox" but what I really need is ones called "no headache" and "feel less like screaming."

Am adding some detailing now.  But am wiffle-waffling between whether I just finish and mount... or go further to add some textural elements - but doing that, may ruin the piece...

Im waiting on one more teeny piece then Im starting like gangbusters. I have everything else ready.

That is, if I dont drop dead from the winter storm thats headed our way....tomorrows high is 33. The high. 33. I realize thats not as cold as some areas of the world but in South Texas its no joke...add freezing rain and a possibility of snow...again...and were certain there is ice water in hell right now.

Lol.  Yeah, that's what happens here in TN too.  We got freezing rain on Friday, and everything stopped for 2 days.  It actually wasn't as bad as some of the ice storms we've had in the past, where there's an inch of ice on everything, and no one can get out for days, because the South simply isn't prepared to deal with winter.  I'm from New England, and when I moved down here I laughed at how no one could deal with what would just be considered another work day in NH, but they just really aren't set up for it here.  And since no one grows up learning to drive in ice and snow, everyone goes off the roads immediately, so it's just safer to cancel school and tell everyone to stay home.

In swap news, I'm about 3/4 through my big project.  It's turning out to be a bigger thing than I expected, but I do like how its coming out.  Smiley
