Right? LOL, I have enjoyed Patraw's toy posts for more reasons than might be obvious. It's cool having a dude on the site that has some of my own young adult's habits. Makes me feel like he will be in good company if these interests continue on over the years Smiley.

I have a couple more things to share now they've been received.
This patchwork pouch with origami butterfly.

project post with more photos.

And paper fabric bookmarks for the literacy program UTM and Lana support Smiley.

more pics and link to the fabulous tutorial I followed.

I did some de-stress crafting this afternoon. DS2 screamed at me on and off for over an hour before he finally took a nap.  Tongue Anyway, made a little clutch/wristlet to go with my new dress. Here is the tutorial I used, but I did add a wrist strap.

KEEYOOT! That tute has some good instructions about doing the zipper in a way I like too. Cool Smiley.

Not sure how I missed it, but that pouch is adorable, CLM! Is that vintage lace? And, those paper fabric bookmarks are awesome! They look like they were really fun to make.

Making that wristlet reminded me that I had started a clutch to match the ivory market bag that I made for my niece (her birthday is next week)...so, I finished that up last night. It's pretty small, just big enough for the essentials.

Very pretty wristlet, TendsTowardsChaos! And that little pouch is quite charming, too! I'm in awe of other grownups that can be "trusted" with white things!

TTC, what crochet stitch were you using for the body of the wristlet? Sure showcases your stitching skills.

Thanks! It's single crochet and spike stitch.

Not sure that I've ever done the spike stitch on a project. I definitely like the look it gives your wristlet.
