I live in an area of Florida hit by Hurricane Irma.  There were piles of downed trees, brush and fencing everywhere you looked.  I wanted to make something beautiful out of the destruction to give my loved ones who came through the storm with us.  We (my husband and I) collected different size fencing planks from around our neighborhood, I drew the shape, my husband cut them (I am not allowed near power tools that cut things lol), I painted them and he sealed them.  I love them all and had a hard time parting with them lol

It's not that I don't want to swap, it's that I often don't have time.  But feel free to ask (especially if it's one that's not too time consuming).

Wonderful - Great shapes and colours.  Did you give them away to others?  I love turning trash to treasure too, and that is how I used wood from branches and trees that were knocked down or forced to be sawed off when we had a big ice storm a few years ago - it ruined our Christmas that one year, and for the following year, I turned the storm detritus into new Christmas ornaments.  I totally appreciate your use of the wood!

These are so beautiful, in so many ways.  I love that you turned tragedy into a chance for beauty.  Rocks.
