Getting in the Christmas spirit isn't complete without boot cuffs!  I saw the idea on Pinterest but there was no pattern so I made my own
Materials:
H hook
small amounts of yarn:
Red
Black
White
Yellow
With Red:
Ribbing Row 1: (this is the ribbed cuff)-Ch 11, slip stitch into 2nd chain from hook and each chain, turn (10 stitches)
Ribbing Row 2: ch 1, slip stitch into back loop only, turn (10 stitches)
Continue row 2 until ribbing stretches comfortably across area between calf and knee cap (this ribbing has wonderful stretching capabilities.)  I made 20 rows of ribbing which is actually 40 rows but the way the ribbing bunches up it makes 20 rows
bring cuff up to first row and single crochet edges together.  (if you want to check if it will slip over your calf at this point before proceeding go ahead)
Row 3: chain 1, place 30 stitches around edge of cuff (I did 1 sc in each of the tops of 2 ribs, then 1 sc in between the next 2 ribs all around), join with slip stitch.  Don't cut the red yarn yet, you'll use it again real soon
Row 4: Change to black, 1 sc in each stitch around (30 stitches), join
Row 5: 1 sc in each stitch around (30 stitches), join.  Cut black yarn
Row 6: Change back to red, 1 sc in each stitch around (30 stitches), join
Row 7: 1 sc in each stitch around (30 stitches), join. Cut red yarn
Row 8: Change to white yarn, 1 sc in each stitch around (30 stitches), join
Row 9: 1 sc in each stitch around (30 stitches), join.  Cut white yarn
Weave in ends.  The basic cuff is done!  YAY!
Now to make the buckle:
With yellow yarn chain 16, join to form a circle.
ch 1, 2 sc in same stitch, sc in next 3 stitches, 3 sc in next stitch, sc in next 3 stitches, 3 sc in next stitch, sc in next 3 stitches, 3 sc in next stitch, sc in next 3 stitches.  Join and cut yarn.  Stitch to cuff using an invisible stitch
Now go out and deck those halls!

Totally adorable! Thank you for the pattern Smiley. I'm pretty sure they would make cute leg warmers too, just extend the red part a bit. I am still making some gifts on my list for family (late, I know!) but I can work these up for myself for next year Smiley.

Absolutely you can make leg warmers!  I live in Florida so these were even a stretch for me!

I like Kit-Kat, unless I'm with 4 or more people.
