For some reason when I saw this taco print flannel I decided The ManFlesh needed a shirt made from it.  Roll Eyes  And for some other reason I decided it needed to be made from kind of a complicated pattern.  Shocked

Despite all the plackets and yokes and tucks and similar BS, I am kind of excited to make him a "real" shirt from the same pattern (Simplicity 1544)! I say "real," because I don't expect that he'll wear this shirt out & about, but rather as a supplement to the ratty, old-man cardigan he wears around the house in the chilly seasons.

I love flannels for housewear.  I'm wearing a leopard flannel shirt right now!

Thanks, y'all! Now I just have to wait until Monday morning, hoping to stay excited and not get nervous.

I hope he wears it out for all to see!  It is a fun take on a classic style! Hey--if he won't wear it, I think you would look just as great in it!  Cozy and comfy...

Aw, thanks! He will for sure wear it, but maybe not out. For one, people keep most of the buildings just too damn hot for cozy clothes AND a winter coat. I hardly ever get to wear sweaters in the winter in Montana!
