Hello guys!

This post is originally from here: http://www.palindromedrygoods.com/2017/12/ribbed-knit-simplicity-8435-madalynne.html

I made this Simplicity x Madalynne body suit pattern. It is Simplicity 8435. I used a striped cotton ribbed knit from JoAnn. This little body suit is so cozy. The fabric is super soft and stretchy and the suit itself is great under boyfriend jeans.

Thanks for reading!

You always seem to post a project that is current and timely in my life!

I also grew up in the "leotard" era of workout and dance wear! Never again...until I purchased a body suit recently and have lived in it a lot!!

I love how it is looser and comfy and stays tucked in your jeans or skirt. Appreciate your tips on the elastic and snap tape as well...I always hated the snaps coming undone or ripped off!

I just discovered some really fabulous knits in my stash that will make great body suits...thanks for the idea ...

Yours came out quite nice...the stripes are not so bold as to limit the versatility of your bodysuit...

Great job, Hannah!

Haha, right?! Dance almost destroyed body suits for us. I'm glad we gave them a second chance because they're pretty great. Have fun making yours, I recommend this pattern but I've seen others out there. Thanks for reading the post and for the kind comment!
