One of my besties gave me these three deer ornaments last Christmas. I wanted to included them in a grouping with other similarly colored or themed decorations that I've received as gifts - all handmade. <3

I cut some scrap lumber from my stash, "pickled" it, added 3 screw eyes, then hung the ornaments on it with small wire nails.

Terrible light for photography in that little hallway. Oh, well!

They look great mounted together on that plaque.
And they go well with the rest of that decoration.

Thank you! I'm tickled with how it turned out, especially as it came together quickly, semi-spontaneously, and without having to source any materials outside the house!

That's neat! I love all the handmade ornaments. I've been trying to figure out how to display some of my ornament collections without putting them on my tree and making a mismatched mess. I might have to try something like this Smiley

The trio of deer head ornaments look great mounted together like that.  If you ever wanted to do something larger or more elaborate with them someday, I imagine they'd work great in a diorama like a hunter's trophy room or a bar.  I dig the larger plush one with the red antlers too.

Thanks, all!

Thanks all!

My mom made several of those when I was a teen. Eek! That's 30 years ago!
