I made these recently to help out geekgirl1000100 with all of her holiday swaps. The kitchen towels are from Trader Joe's and are perfect for adding applique to! I free-handed the patterns and machine stitched the edges of the applique for extra durability. We have Rudolf, a birdie with holly, and a trio of Christmas trees!

Nice!  I agree that Rudolph is the most impressive (I really like that floral pattern), and the bird is a close second, but great job on all three.  You definitely added some Xmas pizzazz to those towels!
