I made this recently to help out geekgirl1000100 with all of her swaps. I saw "sorting hat tree topper" on her to do list and instantly claimed it Cheesy This guy is fairly small because he was made for a 3' tree. He's all needle-felted. He's also quite a grumpy looking hat Wink











And I didn't have a tree to try him on at the time, so here's my head for scale/action shot Tongue

Very cool; I've seen the sorting hat made out of various media here on Craftster, but I think this is the first time I've seen it felted, and that texture looks quite nice for the character/thing. The face on your hat strongly resembles Oogie Boogie from Nightmare Before Christmas to me too, which is neat.
