Hi All, I am wondering if anyone is familiar with semi-industrial heavy weight machines? I have been having a recurring tension issue with my Janome School-Mate and the sewing machine repair shop that I take it to (they specialize in Janome) has been really surprised that it keeps happening. The guy at the shop seems to think it may be that I am sewing heavyweight material too frequently on the machine (leather, webbing, canvas, etc.). He currently has a Thompson mini walking foot machine he is suggesting I buy to use with heavy weight materials. Is anyone familiar with this machine or semi-industrial machines? I just have never used anything like it. Thanks!
