I was going to bake a chocolate cake, but remembered I din’t have enough Chocolate.  Tongue
So, off to the Purity Flour cookbook I go. (A baking mood is not to be wasted, you know.)

Preheat oven to 350*F
Lightly grease a cookie sheet

Sift together:
1 C. Flour
1/2 tsp. B. Soda
1/2 tsp. Salt

In a larger bowl, cream together,
1/2 C. Butter
1/2 C. White Sugar
1/4 C. Brown Sugar (Lightly packed)
Beat in,
1 Egg
1 tsp. Vanilla
Beat until light and fluffy. Stir in dry ingredients.
Fold in:
1 C. Chocolate Chips
1/2 C. Chopped nut meats (pecans or walnuts)

Drop batter by teaspoon about 2 inches apart on cookie sheet.
Bake 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
Remove from oven cool on rack, put in next batch to bake, store in cookie jar.
Makes 2 to 3 dozen cookies

These look like the chocolate chip cookies my grandma made! So delicious. Even though I've tried her recipe they are never as good as the ones she made!

It might be the atmosphere of Love she added to it Wink

When I was young, I’d often wanted to “ruin my appetite” with cookies. Joke’s on me; now I wouldn’t, just because I can’t eat that many now.

But this is a good recipe. It makes yummy cookies.
