I finally finished up a couple more hand towels for my upstairs bathroom! I've had them about 1/3 made for weeks and weeks, after all.

I've one for November/Thanksgiving - when we'll generally have both of our moms as house guests. I have had that chenille rick rack for ages so it was fun to find such a great use for it!

Like all of these that I have made, the cotton print is backed with linen to make them a bit more towel-like and absorbent.

This one is for December/xmas.

I also have had that dotted single-fold bias tape in my stash for ages.

What inspired these were the 2 deer print fat quarters that I got on vacation last year. A directional fat quarter just isn't enough for a hand towel and if I did a border only on the front it would've been too wide for my taste, so I added another border to the "backsides".
