It has been ages since we've had a matchbox swap!
What's better than sending/receiving one matchbox for the holidays?
Erm, how about two matchboxes?  Grin

Matchbox #1 (i.e. the altered matchbox) could be...
- a holiday ornament (free standing or with a loop for hanging)?
- holiday themed artwork?
- a mini shrine?
- anything your heart desires...as long as it involves altering a matchbox in some form!

Matchbox #2 (i.e. the mystery matchbox) could contain...
- a bunch of whimisies?
- an inflatable rubber duckie?  Roll Eyes
- cookies? candy? cash?? (kidding, just kidding...unless you really want to do that)
- anything your heart desires...as long as it fits in the matchbox!

To keep things interesting, yep, just 2 matchboxes...no extras, please.
The mystery matchbox doesn't have to be decorated...it can be wrapped up as a present for your partner to unwrap...or left unadorned Wink
If there is interest in this swap, I would like to start this up pretty quickly so that we'll have ample time to craft Cheesy

I miss and love matchbox swaps - depending on what is on my plate at the time, I could be in on this!

Glad to hear that I'm not the only one who wants to alter a matchbox Cheesy

I was thinking about starting signups at the end of the week, with a send out date sometime the first week of December so that everyone can hopefully receive before Christmas.

Would that work for you guys? Smiley

An altered matchbox ornament would be perfect  Cheesy

I'm thinking about going that route...but a mini matchbox shrine...or oooh, matchbox diorama might also happen!

I love tiny stuff and have been wanting to make some matchbox scenes.

Check out Nichola's matchbox tutorials, she makes the most gorgeous tiny things!
