I like Kit-Kat, unless I'm with 4 or more people.

One of the things my kids and I look forward to each October is the airing of Food Network's Halloween Wars. They are even allowed to stay up past their bedtime so we can watch it together. So this afternoon they had the bright idea to make a Halloween cake in the spirit of the show.

They did allow me to sculpt the rice cereal treat skull, so I was happy. Other than that, it was all their doing! Twin 1 has the neatest handwriting in the entire family and piped "Shirley Dead 1704-?" on the headstone.  Cheesy The skeleton is rice cereal treat, the cake is chocolate with chocolate frosting, the dirt is crumbled Oreos, and they dyed coconut to resemble grass.

The mess they made was a horror show all by itself. Happy October!

I've never watched the show in question, but that is one amazingly impressive Halloween-themed cake!  Must be demoralizing to rise from the dead only to be eaten though.  Grin
