I got a PM asking about my new avatar, but, since Photobucket changed their image sharing policies recently, all the images on the Jem fan art page on my web site don't work anymore, so, I'm uploading those four drawings that I used to make said animated GIF here, even though they're pretty old (I did most of them back in college, well over a decade ago).  Since it's been a while, I don't remember for sure, but I think they were done with colored pencils, markers, and watercolor paint.

I uploaded a bunch more to my gallery, but even that isn't all of them Tongue

I have a ridiculous love of Jem & the Holograms!  I absolutely recognized you had The Misfits cycling on your avatar.  Pizzazz is so recognizable!  Also, your handling of Stormers' wavy hair is seriously awesome!

I love seeing your work, Patraw, and can see how much you have grown as an artist.  I'm so glad you shared these and I'm off to check out the other photos you loaded.  Thank you for sharing the full sizes!  I can't wait to see what you continue create!

Thanks for sharing your awesome fan art Patraw!  And for uploading more to your Craftster gallery, let me just say Photobucket is a dirty word around here lately (all the broken pictures Sad )

At first I could quite place why the characters were so familar.  But JoyfulClover is right they are the Misfits from Jem and the Holograms.  Great job Roll Eyes.  Thanks for this trip down memory lane.

After discovering that I could use my Dropbox cloud storage account to remote link images, I decided to fix the Jem fan art page on my web site.  It's now completely functional again (although please note that most of the other images on my web site, which are hosted by Photobucket, still don't work):

As it might be useful to some of you who wish to remote link images and have a Dropbox account (and you can get one for free if you don't already have one), this is how you do it:

1) Upload the image you want to use to your account.
2) Hit the share button for the image.
3) Click the create link button.
4) Click the copy link button (which automatically puts the link on your clipboard).
5) Finally, paste the link wherever you want it, in my case, in my html code, and do two modifications:  1. Delete any text/numbers that come AFTER the image file format (i.e., jpg/gif/bmp/png), which was ?dl=0 in my case, and (2) replace the "www.dropbox.com" part of the file name with dl.dropboxusercontent.com instead.

So, let's say, instead of using the link in html code like me, you want to post your image here on Craftster, just copy-and-paste the link, make the two modifications to the image address noted above, and then put it inside the IMG bracket tags like so in the text of your post:

And, voila, it remote links:

This is "Rose", Kimber's daughter from somebody's Jem "Teen Angel Outsiders" fan fiction that they asked me to draw for them many years ago.  And, no, I don't know who the father was, or if the author even said so in her fan fic, as it's been well over a decade since I read it!

And, speaking of Kimber, instead of going to parties, dressing up, or whatever it is rational human beings do, my Halloween "tradition" for the last three years has been buying wigs for my Liv Sophie styling head, and I found and purchased this 2015 Rubie's Costume Co. #50721 "Super Star Wig Red" at a thrift store on the 31st, which I consider to be an "official" Kimber wig even if it isn't. Tongue

If you're curious, you can see the other seven wigs, and a spiderweb print jester's hat, that I bought for Sophie here (towards the bottom of the page):

My little sister loved this show like CRAZY when we were younger and now she's a singer! Jazz though, not pop-rock lol. It would be so fun to dress up  as those characters for Halloween. I wonder how many people would recognize them? Only the coolest for sure Wink.

Whatever the question, the answer is always CRAFTING! It's the fix for all the sicks. Makes me feel better every time.

Love you all, thank you so much for everything. XO
