I can't wait to see that transformation! I was pretty impressed with the last one you did!

And, 4 1/2 days left of school... then I can craft a bit...

Good grief! When in the world does your school year begin if you still have almost a week to go? Feeling for you!

I've yet to see anything sheepBlue creates that doesn't turn out well, but if you say it's ugly I'll take your word for it. What color were you thinking of for the transformation? I thought the orange dye job turned out well but you can only use so many shawls of any one color.  Grin

Well the current colors include medium grey, dark grey, brown, dirty yellow, yellow, orangey ocher, brownish grey, and a really beautiful teal blue haha. I wish it was all that blue color. I'm thinking of either a dark blue or purple to cover it all up - probably purple because I don't know that blue would play nicely over the brownish tones, but I know purple can kind of work with it. I'll definitely include before and after pictures to show the transformation.

The students usually start the Wednesday before Labor Day, and we were supposed to get out June 14th, but we had 6 snow days, so it bumped it to the 23rd. They're trying to work out a plan so that we can make up snow days in some other fashion. One year we had so many storms that we didn't get out until June 28th! Just one of the facts of life when you live in the snow belt of Massachusetts!

Those colours sound a bit frightful together. I hope you'll post before & afters so we can see the magical transformation.
I am not touching yarn until this heat wave passes, ugh. It's melty out here.
The school calendar this year was Sept 5 -June 28, that's pretty standard.
