Beautiful! You've definitely perfected your 'cake' strategy. I appreciate hearing your tips for working with them. Thanks!

I agree! I never would have thought to cut a cake so I could continue a color gradient!

That Lizard Shawl is going to look great in those colors! With our bad weather (less snow, more icy conditions), I'm planning to get some crocheting done this weekend! Perfect weather for it.

Yeah, its currently pouring rain here, but its going to turn to snow and ice overnight.  So I did our grocery shopping yesterday, got all my chores finished early this morning, and now Im snuggled with a mug of hot tea, a stack of movies and my crochet project. So far Ive gotten through Miss Congeniality, A Fish Called Wanda, and Fierce Creatures. And 60 rows!

Nice! I swore I wasnt going to hit the store today, but a cravifir beef stroganoff sent me out... twice... because I didnt buy enough mushrooms.

I need to work on my Virus Shawl, so there will be no TV, but I might mix in some work on a granny rectangle afghan, so TV watching will happen at some point.
