Chipping away at some shawlly WIPs slowly. On a slightly different note, does anyone have a simple market bag pattern they love? I want to make a couple to keep in the car for shopping trips.

Got the extra skein of yarn from curiousfae, and untangled it the other night.  It was deeply satisfying to unravel the whole thing with only 1 cut.  Did about 6 more rows on it last night, and I'm hoping to finish some work now, and go downstairs to do some more since I busted my butt cleaning the house and doing lots of chores today.  Time to rest my foot, and hook!

Also pottermouth just tempted me into buying new yarn!  How the hell did she do that when I'm trying so hard to stash bust?!?!?!  Oh yeah, it was an insane sale.  I bought some bamboo, and some cool wool blends I never would have dared to look at, at full price.  Sale ends today.  Just sayin'.

OMG! I absolutely NEED that bag! And one that says 'buy fabric faster than I can sew' and another for 'buy paper faster than I can cut & glue'. Heck! I just need it to say 'buy supplies faster than I can craft'!  Grin Grin Grin

Add me to the guilty camp of buying more yarn. I had a reason though! I ran out of yarn for my current shawl in a beautiful colorway called edemame (think a light leafy green) and had to get more to finish it.

Finished my Summer Drop Shawlette.  Not sure what I think of it yet.  It's so soft and drapey.  But it's also a weird long shape, much more like a scarf than a shawl or shawlette.  Definitely going to have to dye it as these are not colors I wear.  Can't figure out exactly what I want to try with the dye though, that will go nicely over the light purple and light mustard, without getting a muddy color.

That's a challenge lol - they're opposite on the color wheel. You'd probably be able to get away with a dark navy blue.

What about trying red? Youd get a reddish purple and an orange-y color.
