These were created for kittykill recently, in a personal swap.  She mentioned having a cheerful yellow & red kitchen, so I made a cheerful sunshine dishcloth.  Then I had some white cotton, so I made a cloud to go with it.  And then there was the excitement around the eclipse, so I whipped up a solar eclipse cloth to match.  After that I decided that she clearly needed a celestial set of cloths, and added in a star and a rainbow.  Well, the best I could come up with for a rainbow, since I crocheted them all from stash!

Sunshine Dishcloth Pattern made from Sugar'n Cream in yellow.

For the Eclipse, I started with the Sunshine pattern above, and added the edging from this Eclipse Coaster pattern, made from I Love This Cotton! in black, and Sugar'n Cream yellow and bright orange.

Cloud Dishcloth Pattern made from I Love This Cotton! in white.

Star Dishcloth Pattern made from I Love This Cotton! in colorways Turquoise, Pewter, Aqua Ombre, and Teal.

Fire Blossom Dishcloth Pattern made from I Love This Cotton! in colorway Brights!

They are all so good but I especially like the eclipse and the raised stitches on the rainbow. Lovely!

They fit kitchen so well. The yellow of the sun matches the paint exactly! My kitchen is 1950's retro too (the oven is from the 40's) so these are perfect. Thank you so much!!!!

I'm so glad!  I love all the old 40's kitchy crochet patterns, but so many folks have such modern kitchens where that look just doesn't fit. I  loved getting to bust out some cute patterns.

I like Kit-Kat, unless I'm with 4 or more people.

Excellent dishcloths! I'm drawn to the sunshine one and the star reminds me of pinkleo, which is always a good thing.  Wink
