Our good friend has ended up in assisted living and we are clearing out her house. She wants everyone to take something to remember her by. We don't need furniture or knick knacks, but her husband was an engineer and my wife is a wood worker. So we took her beloved husbands work box. She's delighted. It is beautiful, full of old precise tools and well used. I'm sure we will find a use for it, but right now we are just admiring the amazing workmanship of it all. Everything still fits and opens and works well.

I like Kit-Kat, unless I'm with 4 or more people.

She will. But she get's excited about tools and wood boxes the way I get excited about bits and pieces of craft ephemera! We are a great team.

What a wonderful keepsake and treasure. The crafter in me is jealous at the possibilities for storage, but my engineer husband would LOVE something like this.

I'm sure with such a functional piece you'll find the perfect use for it between the two of you.

Wow, what an incredible piece of (art)work! I especially appreciate the pin board inside the lid, that is such a clever and steal-worthy idea Wink.
