This was the second year at Castlefest for us. It's a medieval/fantasy festival in the Netherlands. This year we went as red riding hood and the huntsman and our son went as Batman. Totally unrelated, I know, but I just make him the costume he wants (as long as it's apropriate for Castlefest of course). He is a big fan of super heroes, so Batman was a logical choice for him.

Here are the three of us together.

Me and my boyfriend.

Some action shots of Batman. He took his role very serious.

With serious I mean really, really serious.

I also made this costume for a friend of us. The orb on the stick glows when it's getting dark. It's made with a solar light for the garden.

Thanks for looking!

You sure did a fabulous job!  I love your costume, but the winner is your son!!!  He is obviously enjoying his costume a lot!

Also, what a fantastic costume you made your friend!  Such a clever idea to use a solar light for the orb!

Your costumes look so nice! The festival sounds like a blast. I especially like thecone you did for your friend.  It just screams midevil. Of course your action shots are adorably fearsome Grin. Well done!

The early bird may get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese. . . . I would rather have cheese.
