I made this tiny shadowbox using a Matchbox Cabinet from Alpha Stamps. Here's a little pixie, perched on a shelf, removing wishing stars and lucky stars from the sky. He'll fill that bottle and store it below with previously harvested stars.

The top was created from a wheel from an old set of blocks. I cut it in half so it would sit nicely. Those teeny stars you see around the edge were so fiddly! I used a wax pencil (designed for putting charms on fingernails) to place them.

Writing the labels was tricky; I had a very fine pen, and wrote each label many times before I got them legible. Cheesy

Here's the "cigar box", also from an Alpha Stamps kit. So teensy!

And, the back, with my hand for reference. I hung this in my craft room. Hopefully it brings me luck.

Wonderful whimsical celestial environment!  I really like that you created a cute, cohesive story to go along with all of your design elements.  I can imagine the pixie carefully counting, polishing, and even gloating over, his treasured star collection every night.  Thematically, that also reminds me a bit of the Big Friendly Giant and his bottled dream collection.

You got my heart with all those stars - love it!

Great idea with the wax pencil for nail charms - I have to look for that now.  I have used little bits of wax on a toothpick, which was the tip given to me by a Swarovski rep for picking up crystals.

That is a lot of wonder packed into such a teensy space. So nice, super sigh worthy.

Thanks, everyone!

Yeah, those pencils are the bomb for picking up fiddly little things, whether tiny charms or bits of paper! I've found them here or on Amazon.com, if you want to stock up.  Smiley
