I was recently in the Birds, Bees, Butterfly swap and for the bee theme decided to make my partner a necklace.  My first thought was some sort of pendant and I had a vague idea in mind and went to the craft store to browse the jewelry making section and came across this awesome looking locket.  I didn't know what I was going to do with it but I had to buy it.  I ended up making a little bee scene and adding a bee charm on the outside.

Neat bee locket!  I like the insect's little curled metal antennae and the jagged-edged, mottled stripes on its abdomen.  The cute little bee charm you found is a great coordinating element too.

This is very sweet (pun intended). Lovely locket. I'm sure your partner was thrilled. I would have been!
