While we all either hold our breath waiting for packages to arrive (I'm still waiting for the box I sent to land safely in New Zealand!!!) or trying to distract ourselves from the pile of gifts waiting, how about another Halloween question:
You've been invited to the costume party of the year and money is no object (you've won the lottery or you've got a rich sugar Daddy - whatever floats your boat.   Grin ).  What costume do you wear?

This was the first thing that came to mind and I actually love it.

I would go as Alice (from Alice in Wonderland) but not just Alice, Alice in the moment she grows big inside the house and is basically wearing the house. But here is the kicker, it's not the cottage from the movie, but a super detailed version of the house from Pixar's Up; balloons and all, with Kevin (the bird) on the roof.

My costume wish right now is for Princess Sneezewort from the Princess in Black books, only instead of just purple high-tops, I want purple twinkle toes in a women's 8.  I'm making my kid a Princess Magnolia costume, and that is *so much easier* to do.  *sigh*

Also for those who are waiting anxiously for packages or opening, I've just been drooling over this site that has all the hallowe'en printable toys one could wish for:  http://ravensblight.com/papertoys.html  (see the "halloween treats" tab at the top of the page, too.)  Crafty internet goths are the best. I would totally do some form of Snow White. Maybe steam punk or Victorian.

I would go all out and wear a fancy Victorian ballgown.

I'd love to dress up as one of the party attendees to the ball in the Labyrinth.  Fancy ball gown and awesome, creepy mask!  If I could get the actual David Bowie to go with it, that would be a dream come true!

Yes!!! I've always loved that scene! Oh man.

Aside from that now I would love an authentic Victorian or Edwardian gown with all the trimmings!
