Ooh! My 4-year-old & I have been doing advent-style pre-Hallowe'en decorating the last few years.  This sounds great!  Smiley

I'll be offline from July 29-August 12, tho-- is that likely to be a problem?

We'd love to have you join in!  My concern is that ideally, it would be good to acknowledge your partner before going offline for 2+ weeks.  If I were to be a busy bee and get everyone partnered and notified by say, 8pm on Friday, Aug. 28th, would you be able to check in with both me and your partner before saying farewell to the internet for such a long time?  Do you think you'd have time to still brainstorm and possibly start crafting during this down time or if not, would the remaining eight weeks still be enough time for you to craft for this swap?  This swap is a big commitment so think it over.  We want it to be fun and hopefully stress-free!!!

I can try! (& if not, I can probably manage to check in on my phone on Saturday, since it's a long drive to vacation...)  I'll be at pennsic, which is full of potential shopping & inspiration opportunities, so I'm not too worried about getting horribly behind.  Smiley  Filling out my questionnaire now!

I'm ok with a partner who goes offline for a bit. So if you want to you can partner her with me.

I'm not attached to your world, nothing heals, nothing grows... we used to love ourselves, we used to love one another.

Great!  Send in your questionnaire!  This is going to be a great group!

I had to look up pennsic but wow! that looks like fun!  Have you gone before?  Does all that medieval gear get too hot in August weather?  Do the victors get a feast of mead and ale and legs of mutton?  I'll bet the people watching is amazing!  You'll have to share a picture or two with us.

Questionnaire sent! Smiley

We've done pennsic before, but this is the first time either my husband or 4-year-old has been for the whole time, so that'll be exciting.  I am totally ready except for the packing & the last 2 things I want to finish on the sewing machine....
