Beware the power of my Sonic Seam Ripper!

I just realized I never posted this when I completed it.  I finished it last fall, and it went to it's new home shortly thereafter.  Out of sight, out of mind!  I had been on a kick of making dreamcatchers for friends and family.  This one was created for a friend who collects artwork inspired by the moon and is obsessed with purple.  The hoop is wrapped in purple leather, with the crescent moon weaving done in silver metallic thread.  I added a mix of purple, indigo and blue yarns, ribbons, and other fibers to give it lots of texture.  When I was done, it still seemed to be lacking something, so I dug through my jewelry stash, until I found the pendant at the top; an antique gold starburst, covered in pearls and purple AB beads.

This is stunning! Is the fabric at the bottom just different lengths of wool?
