I'd love to see a new cooking challenge for our monthly Craftster Challenge! Maybe something like a 5 ingredient challenge? Make a dish using 5 ingredients (or less). Salt, pepper, and oil are freebies and don't count against the 5 ingredients. Who doesn't want more ideas for yummy, easy dishes??

I like Kit-Kat, unless I'm with 4 or more people.

Most of what I cook is simple fare, whole foods with few herbs and spices.
I would love a real 5 ingredient challenge, not the sort where 2 of the ingredients are a can of soup and a bag of spice blend, lol. That's like 100 ingredients! Italian seasoning blend or poultry spice could still count, I consider them one ingredients even though I suppose that is technically cheating.

ETA we had Parmesan spinach biscuits at a party that other day that were delish and just about 5 ingredients. I'm going to work on a gluten free version for my sweetie, if they work out I'll save the recipe for this challenge Smiley.

Yes I agree with 5 real ingredients! I hate when I see a 2 ingredient cookie recipe and it's like, a cake mix and a can of pop or something. NO! Although, being a child of the 80s that grew up on casseroles that always had cream of mushroom soup in them...I'm not totally anti-that lol! Cheesy

Neat idea!  And I love the real food twist.

That makes me think, there could be a 'make a food from scratch that you usually buy' challenge. --pasta, cream soup, cake mix, marshmallows, pretzels....

Sorry if old pics aren't showing.  Photobucket thinks I want to go from free to $400??! Nope.
