I started this project because I am unable to work in our big normal garden as a result of health issues.
And also to perk up the boring stretch of asphalt between the back of our home and our garden.

I designed the tables and a nice local carpenter made them for me.
They are made from the same wood as the fence behind them. So eventually they will get the same color.

Then I kept buying more and more pots, tools, herbs and flowery plants.
Now I need to grow a green thumb...., LOL.

My Marc uses the herbs for his cooking.
The big window you see is our kitchen/dining room window.
It now has a beautiful view!

I'd love to hear what you think of my table garden.

What a lovely backyard oasis! I bet this will be a treasured spot to spend time over summer and into fall.

I like Kit-Kat, unless I'm with 4 or more people.

Your tables are perfect! It is so neat and orderly back there. Wish my back area looked that nice. Thanks for sharing your garden tables!

It's lovely and must look beautiful from inside the house. It's so nice to have a delightful view whilst working in the kitchen. I particularly like the bark on the shelf of one of your tables. It's not flowers but I love the addition of natural elements like that into any garden.
Do you get hummingbirds where you live? I could see them coming to a feeder in your oasis.

Thank you, TheMistressT, pottermouth and craftylittlemonkey!

Crafty, no, we don't have hummingbirds over here in Belgium, unfortunately.
But I'm getting a lot of lovely insects, especially on my lavender.

I am glad you noticed the piece of bark.
Also, I have had that rusty iron stand for ages and I bought that pottery bowl recently from a female potter who sold her work much too cheap on a flea market.
I want to add some more nice stone, pottery or wood elements. Whatever I will find outdoors or on flea markets that would look pretty on my tables.
