I too like looking at dollar stores and hardware stores for unconventional crafting ideas.  I got some little cups--the sort that restaurants put salad dressing or ketchup into for to-go orders--to sort and store little punched shapes, to have on hand when I am ready to make some cards.  I punched a lot of leaves and hearts and flower shapes, so next time if I am feeling inspired (or lazy) I can whip something out quickly.  Since they come with covers, it is easy to store and not lose the little shapes.

Good idea with the cups.  I use mini cups that don't have lids, but they stack for sorting, but also for measuring resin, holding paints/water, etc.  The microfiber cloths are great for cleaning up/buffing items, baby spoons or tasting spoons in the party supplies for doling out glitter, embossing powder, etc.  I get the magnetic sheets at Dollar Tree for storing thin dies - a  fellow Craftster member gave me the heads up on that, because I had never been to Dollar Tree before.

Such creative and practical uses, Onyxnox, thanks for the ideas about dollar store supplies!
