The lining isn't in it yet, but here's the next one started.

I have another plain nylon to line it with. Again, I have put both pockets on the outside, rather than one outside and one inside.

The fabric used to be a tablecloth, but never used as one. I've interfaced (interllined) it with canvas. It seems to work well enough, and makes it into a sturdy bag.

Tomorrow, when I've finished it, I'll post the final product.

Thank you, Curiousfae.

I don't mind it at all. (It's currently on display at my local fabric shop. Just because.)

Wow that was a pretty tablecloth! Shocked Most of the ones I've seen with floral prints are hideous Tongue Now you've got a gorgeous bag and no one will know its life started as a tablecloth unless you tell them Wink

I dropped by the fabric shop yesterday to see how it was doing. They told me that it was popular. Many wanted the pattern. They have a fax machine that does copies, and they can copy out the instructions.
Several times, seamstresses wanted to take the copy that's in the bag. Then, they tell them they can download it themselves, or they can make a copy for them. Only some of their clients can download it themselves, so they've made a few copies (which takes a few minutes). I highlighted the fact that it could be downloaded from the website, and added that the one in the envelope is the store copy.
So, I'm glad that it seems to be doing well.
(Personally, I think the print is a touch large for the bag, but it's certainly popular.)

I'm usually not one for large prints but that print is just gorgeous. I can see why it's popular! Smiley
It's nice that your local fabric shop is kind enough to make copies of the pattern for customers.

I have another one I'd made before (listed on Craftster as a "Swoon Ethel Tote".
It's working well enough.
I was concerned that the opening might be too small, but it's working just fine.

Stopped by and checked again.

My fabric lady said that she has made a few copies for customers. She had heard from some of her clerks that customers just wanted to take the store copy: she hadn't believed it, but found that it was true. Then, she admits that she made several copies, because she was getting irked by making copies in the middle of the day. So, now, she has some extras on hand.

She really believed that many customers could download the pattern themselves. She said her Mom could. She would have a bit of difficulty, but she figured many of her customers were much more "Tech-Savvy" than her.

So, it's still a popular pattern. I'm glad.
