Thanks! I have made so many more food things. I'm looking for a big picnic basket to put them all into, I was going to crochet one but I'm running out of time and also my knuckles are starting to really ache. This is a tough craft to do intensively.

Yeah take it easy on your hands. I've found getting a hook with a squishy cover for the part that you hold (think pencil cover....thing...I'm not good with words this morning apparently) really helps with sore hands. Either that or take a break to do something else that doesn't abuse your hands so much!  Cheesy

I've been at the cafe having coffee and crocheting, crocheting in the car while running errands (obviously I'm NOT the one driving, lol), I crochet in bed at night, I even crochet when I walk around town, I'm not kidding you. I used to walk and read so I have excellent peripheral vision, lol. The neighbours all ask what I'm making now, it's very funny. I have a weird callus on my yarn holding hand and I wake up with achey fingers. I have completely and totally overdone it, I know. But I really wanted to figure out some shaping and I had a very long list of items to make for that basket. I have 2 slices of bread and one slice of sandwich meat to do and then I'll be finished and can post pictures of it all together. You are going to be AMAZED at what I've managed to get in done a month and a half!

Good luck finding your basket! Maybe a local thrift store would have something that would work?  I love all these fruits and veggies, you have done an amazing job! I am looking forward to seeing it all together!

I found one today at the thrift shop, now to stitch up the gingham fabric I bought and put it all together. I'm so excited to give it to her!

Love them all! I need to make something similar for my daycare babies. They always destroy the plastic ones.

I'm going to crow a little in all my crochet food posts because I FINISHED this enormous project, gave it to my little one, and she loved it all!
