It's starting to get sunnier where I live so I decided to sew up a bucket hat to keep the sun off my little guy's head. I used this great pattern for a reversible bucket hat along with a Star Wars fat quarter from Walmart (this same print is available by the yard at JoAnn's!) and some blue fabric I had left from another project from last year.

Star Wars:

The only time he'll wear the hat is outside: if I put it on him before we get outside, he takes it off and throws it. Same goes for his shades! Roll Eyes

I like Kit-Kat, unless I'm with 4 or more people.

Thanks! I have shots of it on my hand, but it looks much nicer on a head!

Coolest kid on the playground! Love the Star Wars fabric and blue is a great complimentary fabric. The hat shades him perfectly!

Thanks Smiley
The funny thing about that blue fabric is that it matches the blue of the "Star Wars" lettering perfectly. Happy coincidence! Cheesy

I've always loved bucket hats. My dad calls them "fishing hats" as that's the only time he'll ever wear one even though I think I've only seen him wear one fishing once.
