I am not sure how I ran across this, but I recently had an opportunity to make use of it. Fiskars has a warranty for their products. I thought paper crafters might want to keep this tip handy for when they need it. Has anyone taken advantage of this before?

As you can see from the image, my squeeze handle paper punch broke, the handle just snapped while I was using it. (To be honest, I have another squeeze handle punch by Fiskars and the blue plastic part came off, but the punch is still usable. Also sometimes squeezing sticks a bit, which turned me off to this style of punch.)

Anyway, I submitted the claim form, which involved uploading your original photo and entering some details on the item. They just notified me that a replacement is coming (it can be the same item or something comparable).

Here is the link but please browse through the site on your own. Fiskars also makes hand tools for gardening, which are also under warranty.

That's good to know - I have a similar problem with the blue bit coming off, but the punch is still functional.  But I did buy the fancy Amplify mixed media scissors and kept the warranty information on them since they are supposed to be lifetime.  On saying that, they have performed very well and still don't have any issues at all even after several years of hard use.  For that matter, I still have my sister's pinking shears - also Fiskars and likely about 30 years old and still cut beautifully.  Nice to know they stand by their products.  I also have a bunch of their gardening stuff too.

Oh yes - as for punches that stick, try punching through waxed paper to lubricate them a bit.  Foil to sharpen if they seem dull.
