I received from BigBangMomma. A collage of paper and ribbon and lots of good stuff.

Recycled paper flower and a flower embellishment, and watercolor brush flowers (in the background.)
On the left side - the paper is pleated or folded - really cool. I need to try that.

Thanks Laura!

I'm glad you like it smmarrt! It's a completely different style than what I usually do! The flower on the right was actually made by using my flower punch board. It wouldn't fit all the way on the paper, so it's only part of a flower.

That's a really pretty piece from BigBangMomma.

I recieved an awesome mixed media piece from loves2experiment.  I really like corrugated cardboard incorporated into artwork and the colors on this piece are great!  thanks so much!

Oh, that's very interesting piece. I love the blue color, too.

I got this interesting piece from Geekgirl1000100. Its really neat. It looks like an artifact that has been under the sea and has corral growing on it to me. A little of the paint got stuck to the packing but I plan to touch that up with some paint myself. I agree with geekgirl1000100, every time you look at it you find something new. Its what I image a mermaid would have hanging in her house.  Cheesy  The colors are beautiful.

All of the pieces so far have great layers and texture. Sammylouise40 did this pretty galaxy on wood. I don't know enough about space to say if this is supposed to be a particular type of formation. It looks like there is an eye shape.

I'm so sorry some of the paint came off!  There is a LOT of paint and gesso on that sucker.  Luckily I had started that piece way before the swap started because I finished it early and it was able to dry for days before sending.

And I think that is the best comment ever: "Its what I image a mermaid would have hanging in her house"
Thanks Smiley
