I received a commission to make a throw pillow with this phrase on it - any way I wanted to. YEY! I decided to do a combination of printing on fabric and embroidery for speed and handmade-yness. As an added little touch, the shaft/rachis of some of the feathers on the print are embroidered with grey floss.

It's a basic envelope style cover.

I used the remnant of the printable paper to include care instructions, biz deets...

and a custom message from the client to the recipient.

I like Kit-Kat, unless I'm with 4 or more people.

Thanks! I spent a goodly amount of time standing in the DMC aisle trying to get them right. I was hoping to get varigated floss in the right colors, but my Jo-Ann only had variegated in a special edition 20-pack.

I like it! Adding the embroidered details to the printed fabric is a nice touch. And, I really like your customized care tag. I never would have thought to use printable fabric to make one.

Thank you! Re the care tag... I was wondering how I was going to do it. I considered just typing something up to include on paper in the package, but those things get lost or tossed (tost?). Then I realized I was going to have a few inches left on the sheet I was using for the saying, so it would be good to not waste it. Now that I've done it, I realize it could've been quite a bit smaller.  Roll Eyes But heck, nowadays with my progressive lenses, I am appreciating larger print, so maybe the recipient will too!
