We're listing our home for sale in a couple of weeks, so of course it's time to finish all of those annoying little projects that have accumulated over the years.  Apparently we couldn't take a couple hours to paint in the 15 years we lived here. Cheesy  It's one of those, "I should have done that years ago!" moments because it made such a drastic difference.

I used plain old garage floor paint in battleship grey.  It's great for high traffic and we had some left from another project.

Poor unloved, dingy floor.

They always say it's "premium one coat paint!"  They lie.  It was already an improvement, though.

baby.sweets4ever2.0 was very helpful in guarding the area.

Gave the walls a lovely scrubbing with vinegar and water, and repainted the baseboards white, too.  Easy peasy.  I was this close to stenciling the floor, too, but mr.sweets4ever reminded me we're moving and I'm just going crazy at this point. Cheesy

It looks so much better, wow. There are so many areas of our house that could do with a simple little paint touch up but meh, like you we'll probably wait until (the kids are all off our on their own and) we're selling to downsize, lol Cheesy.

Also, hello wine rack full of lovely vino. Y'all our kinda people, are you moving closer for get togethers? We have Such a lovely porch for drinks in the summer time Wink.

Good to see another lovely updated pantry! It's amazing to see how much only a little bit of work can really improve the look of a room. It's a shame you're selling it though, now you're only going to have a great looking pantry for a short time and it'll probably take years before you find the time to re-do your next pantry  Grin

Yes, such simple stuff!  Don't even get me started on the contact paper I put inside my sink cabinet the other day, hahaha.

Moving from Ohio to Arizona, but I'm definitely open to drinks! Cheesy

Justin and I keep making up names for our buyers.  "Boy, Chad and Susan are going to LOVE this!" or "I bet Mark and Sam will really like this paint color." Cheesy Cheesy

Looks great!  And you're right, it's those little projects that we always put off, but should have done ages ago, that really make the difference.
