Just finished this purse. It's the Louise pattern by Swoon that is May's Bag of the month pattern. I really like the pattern, but the pink irridecent leather was a super pain to sew, it was slippery and sticky all at once.
Also I forgot to add the fleece stabilizer in the side. But I love how it looks and will definitely be making more of this pattern.
Thanks for looking.

It is lovely and well done!  I love those patterns and have made a few for friends...they are a lot of work! Grin

When sewing shiny vinyl, I find using a teflon foot and tissue paper to be helpful.  I think your choice to use it, even if it was a pain, a good one...it adds to the quality look of your bag!

Look forward to more of your creations!

It's beautiful!  I think the pink leather was worth the challenge, too.  It's a lovely touch.

It looks great, nice choice of fabrics and totally worth the bother.

When sewing shiny vinyl, I find using a teflon foot and tissue paper to be helpful.

RovingAnarchist had the great suggestion to put tape over a regular machine foot for extra slip to stitch vinyl etc. I haven't tried it, I have a teflon foot, but it seems like it would work very well Wink.

I love this! That striped skull fabric is to die for.  Wink  And I like that you paired it with pink instead of red. It gives it more of a sweet, innocent look and then you notice the skulls and its an added surprise.
