I made this for my cousin's son, whose birthday was in April. It has been sitting around since then, waiting for me to sew it. I finally found the time to make it and sewed it up because we're going to visit next weekend.
It's just a simple bi-fold wallet since he's only 10 and doesn't exactly have a lot of stuff to carry in it Smiley A friend was kind enough to let me use his wallet to make a pattern for it. The fabric was from my stash and was scraps from where I made my hubs some pj pants.

EDIT:
Figured I'd add these to this post so that I wouldn't clutter up the feed Smiley

This LSU wallet is for me. It's a super simple one with just a Velcro closure because I don't carry a lot of stuff in my wallet. It's made from more of the same scraps. I used this awesome FREE pattern from Craftsy to make it.

This Batman pencil pouch is for the same kiddo who's getting the first wallet. Sadly, he can't use it for school as it's mandatory that their pencil cases be clear or mesh but he's can use it for his "homework pencils" at home. I made this by modifying this FREE pattern from Craftsy since the only zipper I had on hand was a 7" zipper and the pattern calls for a 14" zipper.

My hubs wanted the pencil pouch. I asked what he'd do with it and he said "Put it on my desk at work for pens." His work is 99% on his computer and there's a pen pocket on his uniform's sleeve for pens so he doesn't need one. But I may have to figure something out for him.

So cute!  I love the pencil pouch, too.  You can never have enough little bags & pouches!

Never! Cheesy I love making them and I love having them around. I just need to pick up some zippers. I'm going to make a travel sewing kit pouch. I just have to pick a fabric for it.
