In the recent art quilt swap, I did a second attempt at paper piecing and it went very well! so well that the unicorn came alive enough to snort out glitter! I did minimal quilting on the unicorn, I did not want to distract from the unicorn. Overall size is about 18" x 18".

The pattern was from Robynie Patterns at https://payhip.com/robynie. Clear instructions even if there were way too many pieces. But it worked.

Lots of fabrics, I had the whole craft room covered in pinks, purples, greens, whites, and grays. Even dug out a glittery silver fabric for the horn. Keeping all the color bits straight while working in reverse is soooooooo much fun. Then embellished with some tiny beads. Thus, unicorn snorts were born.

Tip on this pattern. I used highlighters to color the piece numbers so I could remember what color each piece needed to be. Made it so much easier since I printed it in B&W.

Wow, great job, I recently tried Paper piecing for the first time and found it quite hard, so I can see how challenging this would be.
