DGRequiem, the Etsy user behind Requiem Art Designs, is hosting a "franken fashion" contest, the object of which is to take pieces from her different patterns to create your own outfit.
I had been meaning to Frankenstein this pattern but I was being lazy about it. The chance to win free patterns made me get my butt in gear to get it done!
Here's the 99% finished product (it needs Velcro for the closure):

It's not 100% exactly like the cartoon version but this is just a prototype until I get the right fabrics: I used jersey knit fused to muslin for the blue because that was the only fabric I had in the proper color and the collar and cuffs have a brown paisley print on the wrong side, which is visible close-up.
Here are the photos of it in progress:
Testing the Frankensteined pattern with muslin:

Added wrist cuffs and started the seams:

Finished adding leg cuffs, just needed the collar and to sew the top to the bottom:

With Velcro!

The back:

If she says it's okay, I'll post what I did here so that y'all can make your own, if anyone is interested. You'll just need the right patterns to do it with.

Thanks! And yep, this guy is eventually going to get a pale blond reroot and Egon's signature pompadour 'do! Grin

I like Kit-Kat, unless I'm with 4 or more people.

He looks awesome already, but I can't wait to see him after the reroot. He will be doubly "charming" as Egon.  Cheesy

Thanks Cheesy
I'm thinking I'm going to use brushed out yarn for the reroot since I have some that's the right pale shade of yellow for his blonde hair. I just have to get a pet brush to brush it out, which I'm always forgetting when I go shopping, even if it's on my list (like today, lol) Roll Eyes
