It's been a while since I've made some new kanzashi, and thought it was about time I did some new ones. Smiley

I often sing or hum when I am working, which my wonderful husband uncomplainingly puts up with. I have a tendency to sing a the same few songs repeatedly, to the point where I dont even notice. One of those songs is Daisy Bell otherwise known as Bicycle Built for Two. Inspired by this musical tick, I thought it would be fun to do a set of daisy themed kanzashi.

I really enjoyed putting together this hair fork with a cluster of yellow and white daisies.

and did some simpler pins

and a three-flower pin to go with it. One of the flowers in this trio has a plucked petal, which puts me in mind of the 'love me/love me not' game.

Very nice! I love the colors. I have yet to make a Kanzashi flower, but I have played around making a few petals. I was doing the burnt kind. I love the way they look-- so unusual and lovely. thanks for letting us see them.
