I made this for. Blupaisan in the assemblage art swap. She requested something useful due to limited space. I was excited for this request because I've been having my brother save all the baby treat puff containers for me and I have dozens!

I had a completely different idea to do a mosaic but once I started doing that I realized I just didn't have the patience for it. I think I got so angry I went to bed early. Maybe one day I'll actually do a mosaic haha.

So I decoupaged strips of gelli prints all around, glued a wooden bobbin and plaque to the bottom. Painted, nailed and glued all this stuff to it. I actually glued to many things and had to rip some stuff off. Luckily I didn't ruin any of the paper underneath.

This is definitely one of my favorite things I've ever made!!!

What do you think!?

I think she must have loved it  and I can see her LOVING the little blue kitties tucked on the base!  It will probably make her smile every time she sees it.

This is like a fabulous, useful trophy! Love all the colors and items you chose! You have a knack for thinking outside the "box".
