This is my Captivating Clutch, March's Bag of the month. I really like this purse, however I was super dyslexic with the pattern and felt rushed, my machine was acting up, etc. So this is my adjusted finished purse.
I wrote a blog about all the touch ups I made to make this purse better, if you are interested.

This looks great and so perfect for a project I'm working on right now. I do pattern draft but I find bags fiddly and a PITA when I'm only planning to make one but still need to draft the pattern, it hardly feels worth it. Your purses and bags are excellent quality, I'm impressed with each post. I am not sure I need 6 bags in 6 months lol but I think I'll join that bag of the month club anyhow and make some things for friends.
Thanks for posting, I appreciate all your fine detail work and interesting fabric choices Smiley.

Thank you so much. I love making bags, but feel the same, I don't need that many bags. I really just love making up the colour combos and playing with different fabrics. Often I just sell them for space clearing and fabric money, but this one fits my tablet perfectly.

I love your purse! And I love dr Who too!
Sometimes patterns are so confusing, for me it works best if I have an example which I can 'study' or a youtube tutorial. Once you get it, the patter and description makes sense haha  Cheesy

I love the idea of a purse of the month challenge, but like the two of you, I don't need more bags/purses/clutches...  Wink

Great work!!  Smiley

Since when have purses and bags been a "need"?

I have made and used many (many, many) bags. Some I've given away, some I've "put away". (It's always fun to "find" a stash of bags, and change out the ones I'm currently using for different bags.)
