Two summers ago Mistress Jennie hosted the One Awesome Harry Potter Thing Swap and I was lucky enough to be paired with the delightful Abbeeroad.  Abbee's "wish list item" was an afghan like Ron has in the Harry Potter movies.

Like this one...

After some hunting online I came across a tutorial on Revelry by Penguineer's Purls and used her chart as a guideline to make my own.  This project is made of 7 inch knitted squares, 80 of them, then all sewn together to create a massive 70" by 56" afghan.  If you are ever in need of a stash busting project, look no further.

Here is my version...

And at another angle...

Oh My Gosh that is AMAZING! Wow. What a project, what a gift! Incredibly generous of you but then Abbeeroad deserves lovely things in the mail and I'll bet she adores this beauty. Nicely done all around.

I like Kit-Kat, unless I'm with 4 or more people.
