Here is my latest card project, and this time I have a template too!

This flowerpot card is made to stand up.  At the top of the card you make a few slots where you can insert some flowers and tape them on the inside.  The side view will show you the simple construction of the card.  I also added a banner for the recipient's name, but you can easily switch so the person's name is on the pot and the occasion is on the banner, or whatever you like. The back of the card has space for you to write your note as well.

Here is the template:    My card is sized so that you can fit two on one 8.5 x 11 cardstock.  You will see I used alternating colors for the card and banner.

Tips:
--Choose your envelope first so that you know how high you can have the flowers and how wide to have the banner.
--After adding the flowers, tape them down on the inside to help strengthen this fold.
--Decide where you want the banner first so you know how wide the folds can be.
--Other occasions to use this card: birthday, Easter, Get well soon, Sympathy, or could even be a placecard or favor for a high tea, a garden-related event.

I like Kit-Kat, unless I'm with 4 or more people.
