I made this tiny quilt for craftylittlemonkey in the recent Mini Quilt Swap. She had a number of octopi on her Pinterest board, which is how I picked the snail's trail for the block, and she said earth tones were her favorite.

It's about 14" in diameter. This picture shows the scale a little better.

The tiny black pieces are 3/4" squares.

The back kept making me hungry. It seriously looked like a pizza until I put the hanging loops on  Grin

I like Kit-Kat, unless I'm with 4 or more people.

This is amazing. It blows me away that you've manipulated such tiny pieces of fabric into a stunning piece of art!

p.s. this rocks my socks off.

So unique. Have never seen anything like it. Why do I love those loops so much on the back? Hee hee.
So well done. This is the only piece I have ever seen that is so wonderful that I do not 'mind' that they are not in 'my' colors.

There are the Redcoats. And they are ours! Or tonight Becky Thatcher sleeps a widow!

Haha thanks, guys!
I actually meant to have one long sleeve on the back, but I ran out of the rust fabric and it looked too weird to have a contrasting color on there.

You should check out the feather quilt craftylittlemonkey made me in return. It is equally fantastic!

Absolutely LOVELY!  I love that the circular shape of the quilt compliments the swirling design of the blocks you chose.  Well done.

This is really cute! I love that you took a traditional block and gave it the round setting!
