Frida looked killer, but she had the style, presence, and attitude to back it up and become a legend. 12 year old me, on the other hand, only had frump, overachievement, and books.  Cheesy

I didn't sport a unibrow but I had some SERIOUS woolly caterpillar eyebrows going on in HS (and sadly, into my 20's) before I discovered strategic plucking. LOL

After a dash of genius, I have 7 cards complete! I needed sleeves, so those are ordered and on their way. Still a long ways to go, and don't plan to ship for quite a while yet, but I am really happy with how they are turning out. They are much more original than last round where I went solely digital.

I'd better get a move on but I might still wait until after my parents have been and husband has left for training as then I'll have more time and something to do. Will start planning today

I found some Paintings I made last year which are perfect for the backgrounds, so i cut those out and only need to make 6 more card fronts. Hopefully I can do that tomorrow. Looking for pictures to use, and ink to print them!  Cheesy

Working on the self portrait that will form the base image - going faster than I thought!  I am working with colours in my stash, so we'll see how that goes... luckily the stash is rather... well, robust...

Haha, I'll have to find a hs pic next time.  This time I'm going with a baby pic.

Great hearing about all the different techniques.  I'm hoping to jump in full force soon!  Smiley

I am a bit more than half done the bead portrait, but not 2/3.  I may have to add a bit of thread to delineate better - a bit like backstitching in cross stitch, but likely with a bit of Nymo or CLon... it so far looks like me with a bit too much make up...
