It's lovely.  And what a nice idea of how to use a small piece.  I always want to try patterns, but don't want to commit to a whole quilt.


I'm the exact same way. I love so many paper pieced patterns but wouldn't make a whole quilt, so I like making little mug rugs and pouches with them.  Smiley

I love this!  My dad kept bees, so I have a great fondness for them.  Smiley  Brilliant idea to make a small project with it, too - the hexagon shape is just perfect!
